Our Story

Nestled in the heart of historic downtown of Roslyn, Washington, StoneHouse101 is the perfect intimate setting for any style event. Built in the late 1800’s by Italian tradesmen and coalminers, the locally quarried sandstone building originally debuted as the Piedmonte Saloon. Over 100 years later, now remodeled and renovated, StoneHouse101 offers modern amenities in an indoor/outdoor setting where Old World charm meets rustic elegance.

StoneHouse101 features a beautiful, welcoming reception area with a mobile bar and a great room that fully opens to a private lighted yard surrounded by lush garden areas. Our custom wood farm tables, wine barrel cocktail tables, seasonal fire pit or fountain, and unique pergola provide a modern twist to the echo of the building’s Italian past.   • From May through October, our capacity is 120 people. From November through April, we can only host around 50 people (or 30 for wedding ceremonies). This is because our outdoor area is closed during the winter months.

  • While a lot of the photos you see online are of weddings, we host all sorts of events here at StoneHouse101! We do rehearsal dinners, celebrations of life, birthday parties, holiday parties, corporate events and/or meetings, and more. The opportunities are endless!

  • Our rental fee depends on a variety of factors, including the type of event, guest count, date/time of year, etc.

    When you contact us, we will have you fill out a brief intake form with more information about your event. After you complete it, we will send you a quote and schedule a tour of the space with you.

  • We have an excellent list of caterers you may choose from! We do require clients to use one of the caterers from our list to ensure compliance with our facility standards and liability policies.

    All of these caterers have hosted previous events at StoneHouse101 and do a great job, so rest assured your event will be smooth.

    Please reach out to us if you have questions about finding the right caterer, we are always happy to help!

  • Our only vendor restriction is caterers, so you may bring in any other vendor you would like otherwise.

    We do have fantastic recommendations should you need help finding the right one for your event, so feel free to check out our friends here or reach out to us!

  • Our rental fee includes our custom wood farm tables, chairs, wine barrel cocktail tables, and more depending on your event.

    We also have a Rental Menu of additional items and services available to add on if you choose, including glassware, plates/silverware, decorations, tents, heaters, and more.

  • Parking is street parking only, so we recommend encouraging your guests to carpool and/or hire a shuttle. However, there are a few overflow parking areas nearby and most places to stay are within walking distance to downtown Roslyn and StoneHouse101.

  • Yes, Roslyn noise ordinance is 10pm and we strictly enforce that.

  • For alcohol, you will need to obtain a banquet permit from the Washington State Liquor Board, which allows you to bring any beverages you prefer.

    For your insurance, we have partnered with our friends at Event Helper to make the whole process simple.

  • Unfortunately, due to insurance and liability reasons, we do not allow pets onsite. Service animals are allowed as long as they remain leashed.

The grounds are beautiful and there are so many wonderful amenities offered to ease your vendor search and to add special touches to your event. Our wedding was beautiful and the setting was comfortable and well kept. 10/10 recommend for your wedding day, or anything else you’re thinking of. Adaptable to any style, but all we really used for decoration was flowers. It’s beautiful and unique on its own!”
